To commemorate the trek of the Lewis & Clark Expedition through our local area 200 years ago, the Garfield County L&C Bicentennial Committee has organized an exciting historical weekend.  This trip has been organized for teams, out riders and seasoned hikers.  In its entirety, this adventure will cover 24 miles of cross-country and farm roads.  This will include 8 miles of original L&C trail, and an undetermined stretch along the actual stagecoach line, which traveled the Howell grade.  Our starting point will begin at an original campsite, where Lewis & Clark camped May 3rd, 1806 on property belonging to Edith and Gary Cole.  For more information and to obtain a registration form, please contact names to the right.
